Air quality is the only marketing a pool cannot fake. Neither is the water.
It’s not the chlorine. It’s us. Sweat, skin oils, sunscreen: chlorine turns them into the smell of a pool, the red eyes, irritation and the corrosion. LifeOX® has been breaking them down since 2007, so none of it gets the chance to appear.
Ozone, used differently.
Ozone is normally used as a disinfectant. In LifeOX® it is only a raw material: dissolved briefly, directly exposed to UV light. That turns ozone into hydroxyl radicals (•OH), the strongest oxidant in water treatment. These radicals break down exactly the organics trichloramine is made from. The UV itself also inactivates chlorine-resistant Cryptosporidium. Result: a tenth of the usual ozone dose, no contact tank, no ozone reaching the pool.
And the water quality? The radicals also remove the dissolved organics that keep water from being truly clear. What comes back is clear, odourless and gentle on eyes and skin: water that makes you think of drinking water, not of a pool.
Key benefits:
• It follows the bathers. Output adapts automatically to bather load, based on measured combined chlorine. Full power when the pool is full, less when it is quiet: the unit decides how many radicals the water needs. Expected 20–30 % less energy than the previous LifeOX M.
• All the water. All at once. Every time. Most AOP systems work as a side stream: they treat a fraction of the flow, often a quarter, and the rest goes back to the pool without oxidation. LifeOX® 250 treats the full 250 m³/h: every litre, on every turnover. In a cabinet of 130 × 114 × 180 cm (1.5 m² of floor), 475 kg, 9 kW. A conventional set for the same flow is the absolute opposite: about ten times the floor space, 20 modules, 13 m of wall and 72 kW.
