At Locamex, we often faced leaks in pool pipelines that were remote or difficult to access. Traditional methods, which were destructive and costly, made repairs complex and sometimes required complete replacement, causing disruptions for our clients. They had to coordinate leak detection with us and then manage repairs with another service provider, which increased delays and costs.
To simplify this process, we developed long-distance lining technology. This innovative method repairs leaks without destructive work by inserting a resin-impregnated liner inside the pipelines, even in hard-to-reach areas. This solution, up to five times less expensive, reinforces and seals the pipes permanently, reducing disruptions for our clients.
How It Works:
Step 1: Feasibility study of lining during the leak detection intervention.
Step 2: Detailed lining proposal to the client.
Step 3: Complete sanding of the area to be lined.
Step 4: Application of resin by brushing.
Step 5: Resin curing with a thermal blower.
Step 6: Pressurization to check the effectiveness of the lining.
This process ensures a durable, effective, and cost-efficient repair while avoiding the negative impacts of traditional methods.
